The area of Zbąszyń is rich in many monuments of culture: wooden churches in Łomnica, Chlastawa, and Kosieczyn, barque parish church and bastion in the monumental palace park in Zbąszyń where an art gallery is situated. The enthusiast of history and folklore will have much to discover in the region, starting from the Museum of Zbąszyń Region and Bagpipe Region. The town of Zbąszyń and the neighbouring areas still actively cultivate the tradition of playing kozioł – a local folk instrument similar to bagpipes.
